Barbara
The Barbara is purity made tangible. Not smoked, but honestly fired to reveal the warm, gentle soul of the clay. Alabaster is a soft, creamy shade that absorbs sunlight and gives back a subtle glow. The result is a façade that is not imposing but inviting, an architecture that speaks with a voice of pure, natural warmth.
Production
Production process: Fired in an oxidising atmosphere, not smoked. The colour is the direct result of the clay composition and the firing temperature.
Forming method: According to the Wasserstrich (water-struck) principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.
Clay composition
Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay from the Secondary era (Mesozoic), highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.
