W Henry

The W. Henry gives Graphite Grey a monumental strength. The robust, thick format lends this deep, nuanced colour a tangible depth and a sense of enduring, lived-in substance. The result is a façade with a serious, confident expression, where the dark nuances strengthen the mass of the building.

Production process: Eco-smoked. Firing and smoking combined in a single firing cycle in a low-oxygen atmosphere. Lower gas consumption.

Forming method: According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.

Colour: Graphite Grey, a deep, nuanced dark grey

Surface texture: Characteristic waterstruck structure with fine linear markings; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface
