Cavendish

The Cavendish translates that same pronounced character into a bold, graphic play of lines. On the slender format, the generously applied engobe creates a dynamic, expressive linework. It is a brick that gives the façade a confident, contemporary flair, where every line is a statement in itself.

Production process: Eco-smoked. Firing and smoking combined in a single firing cycle in a low-oxygen atmosphere. Lower gas consumption.

Forming method: According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.

Colour: Grey/Cream

Mineral engobe: Generously applied before firing; creates a dynamic, expressive linework on the slender brick

Appearance: Bold, graphic play of lines; confident contemporary flair

Surface texture: Characteristic waterstruck structure; the mineral engobe accentuates the linework; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface
