Production process: Eco-smoked. Firing and smoking combined in a single firing cycle in a low-oxygen atmosphere. Lower gas consumption.

Forming method: According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, blended with iron-rich clay to give its characteristic depth of colour.

Colour: Obsidian, deep dark anthracite

Appearance:
Architectural authority in a slender proportion; powerful contrast and visual gravity

Surface texture:
Characteristic waterstruck structure; the slender proportion strengthens the graphic and architectural effect; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface
