Waterstruck bricks
A waterstruck brick has a smooth surface, a deep colour and the soft, characteristic edges that water leaves in the mould. Because the clay is released with water instead of sand, the colour stays pure, with a natural variation from brick to brick. No two bricks carry exactly the same marks, which gives the façade an identity of its own that will last.

Waterstruck bricks, smoked at our brickworks
We test the technical properties of every brick and study how the temperature and duration of smoking change the colour, and we adjust those parameters until the shade is right.
Our waterstruck bricks are fired and smoked in a single production cycle. We call this eco-smoking: it uses less gas and produces less CO2. Every brick is also available as a brick slip for exterior cladding.

How do waterstruck bricks work in your design?
That makes it suitable for a wide range of designs. In our configurator you can combine colours, formats and textures into a façade that is entirely your own.
We are glad to think along with you. We can also make a custom brick for your project, for example to add a distinctive accent to a new build or to match an existing brick in the restoration of a historic building.
