The Zachary shows the character of this brick in its full, robust glory. The generous application of engobe gives the thick format a rich, deeply structured texture and an unmistakable personality. The result is a powerful, expressive statement; a façade that speaks of daring and a layered, material depth.

Production process: Eco-smoked. Firing and smoking combined in a single firing cycle in a low-oxygen atmosphere. Lower gas consumption.

Forming method:
According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.

Colour: Grey/Brown

Mineral engobe: Applied before firing; enriches the colour with a warm brown depth without altering the surface structure

Appearance: Powerful and expressive; layered colour depth with an unmistakable personality

Surface texture: Characteristic waterstruck structure with fine linear markings; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface

Finish: Matt
