Giovanna

The Giovanna enriches the soft canvas of Alabaster with an artistic signature. On a selection of the bricks, a subtle ochre shading has been applied, like a delicate brushstroke from the master's hand. This gives the façade a curated character all of its own, where every brick contributes to a lively yet harmonious whole.

Production process: Fired in an oxidising atmosphere, not smoked. The colour is the direct result of the clay composition and the firing temperature.

Forming method: According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.

Colour: Alabaster with subtle ochre shading on a selection of the bricks

Mineral engobe: Delicate ochre, applied before firing to a proportion of the bricks

Appearance: A curated character all of its own; every brick contributes to a lively yet harmonious whole

Surface texture: Characteristic waterstruck structure with fine linear markings; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface

Finish: Matt
