Giulia

The Giulia carries the soft colour of Alabaster, but is marked by fire. Shading from ochre to black appears on the bricks like the traces of a flame, giving the façade a lively, almost glowing energy. It is the balance between softness and primal force, for a façade that leaves an authentic and lasting impression.

Production process: Fired in an oxidising atmosphere, not smoked. The colour is the direct result of the clay composition and the firing temperature.

Forming method: According to the waterstruck principle, in which the clay is pressed into a mould and released using water alone.

Clay composition: 100% refractory kaolinitic-illitic Westerwald clay of Mesozoic age, highly mineralised, compact and exceptionally pure.

Colour: Alabaster with shading from ochre to black, like the traces of a flame

Appearance: Lively and powerful; a balance between softness and primal force. An authentic and lasting impression.

Surface texture: Characteristic waterstruck structure with fine linear markings; the water used as a release agent remains visible in the surface

Finish: Matt
